Take a page from your own book this time.
Event Planning Tip #7: Just because someone else did it, doesn't mean you should! Take the idea that you liked and put your own unique twist on it. It will make the event specially tailored for you and your guests.
Bellissima Weddings is a locally (Phoenix, AZ) owned event planning business that helps turn your dreams into a memorable experience.

Event Planning Tip #6
Taking a page from theater, the show must go on!
Event Planning Tip #6: No one knows every detail you've planned. When things go wrong, improvise. Most times the guests will never know they missed a thing and you can go on enjoying your event instead of stressing about things that can't be changed.

Event Planning Tip #5
Don't forget to boost your confidence, it sets the mood for others.
Event Planning Tip #5: If you are going to do it, do it. And don't just do it, rock it! People will follow along with the vibe you set and if you are unsure of yourself, others will be too.

Event Planning Tip #4
Another sweet tip to save your energy and money!
Event Planning Tip #4: Less is more. People want to enjoy your wedding and celebrate with you too. With dinner, cake cutting, dances, and people drinking there is already so much to do and see. Spend your time and money wisely on things that people will see that make a dramatic statement, i.e. a draped entrance to the wedding reception or photo posters of the couple placed at focal points. Be creative and have fun!

Event Planning Tip #3
A simple tip that is easily overlooked: planning ahead.
Event Planning Tip #3: Set a goal and get it done. Keep your true priorities in sight and make realistic expectations to help you achieve your goals. Also keep yourself in check by using a planner or to do list and sticking to it.

Event Planning Tip #2
Here's another little tip to help your event be Bellissima.
Event Planning Tip #2: Less is more. If there is too much going on guests will not be able to enjoy all you have done for them. And with more plans, it is more likely that some things may go unused, be forgotten or even worse you could become too overwhelmed with all the little details that corners get cut. Put effort into the things you do choose to do and it will show.

Event Planning Tip #1
In the subsequent blogs I will post little tips that I am learning along the way.
Event Planning Tip #1: Time is key to planning and preparation. When you don't give yourself enough time things may get forgotten or be rushed to be finished without quality and care. Always give yourself more than enough time; one way to help is to make and use a timeline, or estimate how much time getting/making/putting things together will take and always over-estimate. Bottom line, work with yourself.
